Preamble
"The essence of a role-playing game is that it is a group, cooperative experience.
There is no winning or losing, but rather the value is in the experience of
imagining yourself as a character in whatever genre you’re involved in,
whether it’s a fantasy game, the Wild West, secret agents or whatever else.
You get to sort of vicariously experience those things."
We, the members of the Apartment Block unite
for the promotion of role-play gaming;
to encourage, mentor, support, and train members of all skill level;
and to engage in Nation and Non-Nation Role Play on NationStates
We hereby band together as a Role Play Group under the game mechanics banner
"Region"
on Nation States.

Region Definition
Section I - Role Player Group
The Region is first and foremost a place for role players from all forums on NationStates. The OSF is Out of Character (OOC) except for specially designated areas and RP IC threads.
Section II - Region/Nation Role Play
The Region does not engage in Region-level role play. Nation role play is done through our parent organization, Paedagog.
Section III - Membership Levels
Staff: members of the TAB Region on NS; part of OOC operations. They shall be denoted by duty position (if an office is held).
Member: players who are members of the TAB Region on NS. They must have a nation (or puppet nation) registered with that Region. They have full privileges to include: use of the TAB IRC channel, membership in the Consortium of the Multiverse (alliance) should they wish to Nation RP, full privileges to RP in any of the non-Nation RP forums, and permission to start new threads. They shall be denoted as "Member" unless they hold office. Then they shall be denoted by duty position.
Family: members of the Personification Life RPG who reside outside the official TAB region. Family members are authorized to join the TAB Region OSF, to participate in TAB Regional RP on the OSF, to utilize the TAB IRC, and to post on the RMB. Family may be denoted as "Family" unless they have a puppet in the Region. If a puppet exists, both nation names will be denoted as "Member".
Ambassador: Ambassadors are representatives from other NationStates Regions. They may post in the various forums but they are not permitted to post in the RP forums, the Alliance category (unless special permission is granted) nor use the TAB IRC channel without special permission. Ambassadors may use the Regional Message Board on NationStates. However, spam will result in embassy closure.[/ul]

Section I - Government Structure
The Region is governed by a Founder and her Advisory Committee according to any mandates laid down by Paedagog.
Section II - Staff
The Advisory Committee functions as the Off Site Forum (OSF) Staff. Staff will be appointed on a Region-need basis and after discussion between Founder and Committee with a 3/4 majority agreement by Founder and Committee Members. Staff vacancy notices will be published on the OSF and all Members are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be active within the Region, be in good standing, possess a willingness to serve, and remain an active participant. Staff may be removed at Founder discretion and only after discussion with the other members of the Staff.
Section III - Loss of Founder
Should the Founder's NationStates (NS) account be deleted due to death or NS Moderation action (DoS), temporary region account control on NS will default to the Delegate for NS game mechanics purposes. The Staff will guide the Delegate in matters pertaining to the NationStates web site but the Delegate will not hold governing positional authority within the gaming group itself. The Committee will govern the Group in the Founder's stead. The Region may elect to physically Refound the region account on NationStates or to allow it to close and a new region account opened. Options will go before the Membership vote. Candidates for Founder will state their intention on this OSF and election will be via Member vote; majority wins. Should the Region decide to refound the NS region page, it will approach a Defender organization for assistance or, if such a group is unknown the Delegate will approach NS Moderation to request to be put in touch with such an organization.

Section I - Publication
TABNN shall publish a month newsletter here on the OSF Forum. This letter shall contain a highlight of the region for the prior month, and a Founder's statement. Space will be made available for any IC Nation news as well as a section for the Regional Delegate.
Section II - Submission Guidelines
Submission guidelines are posted in the TABNN Forum. Submission deadline is no later than the third Saturday of each month.
