NOMINATION 2: Father of Darkseid Gets Beat
Nominated by: The Starlight
Notes by The Starlight: "Anyway, I think I'm going to go with the formation of the flagship superhero team in Infinite Justice, by beating up Yuga Khan, the father of Darkseid. I can't include all of them, b/c that would be a lot, but here are some parts: 1(kinda), 2, 3, 4, 5. What made this fight so great, besides epic one-liners, was that each of the characters participating in that battle could've beaten any ordinary foe by themselves, but Khan was no ordinary foe. He could not be beat by any one of them alone, as we see as the most powerful char in the RP loses an eye to Khan. And so, when they worked together, when they assembled, they were able to defeat Khan."
Hadrimmelis saw her allies charge against the looming threat that was the ancient warlord Yuga Khan, only to be defeated one by one, pummeled into submission by the Old God. The truth was that his power was immense, as Manifest had lasted barely a second against him, and even the two strangers who managed to take him by surprise, both of them New Gods by the looks of it, were overpowered with relative ease. Given that, there was no doubt left that Yuga Khan was a terrible threat not just to Earth, but to the entire universe. But leaving aside all of that, he was a threat to Adai, and this above all others was, in the World-Dragon's mind, the reason he needed to be stopped. Her friends, her allies, and the protection of life itself as an abstract entity mattered as well, of course, as she was quite fond of Manifest, Craig, Valka and the Praetorian Emperors, but that which struck her as the highest priority, the greatest reason to stand against the Old God, was the threat that he represented towards her creations, the Hadrians, her children.
Even so, the Black Dragon was hesitant to act. She was not afraid of Yuga Khan, certainly, so that was not the reason. What kind of Dragon would fear such a confrontation, especially when lesser beings were more than ready to charge head-first into battle and put their lives on the line for the sake of their world? No, fear was not the reason... not fear of the Old God, in any case. The issue here was that the potential for collateral damage was enormous. If she stood against Yuga Khan with the intention to actually attempt to halt his advance or drive him back, it could end disastrously for Earth, even if she were to succeed somehow. And then, what would have these heroes struggled for? If the Earth died because someone was trying to protect the Earth, wouldn't Yuga Khan win? Wouldn't it be the greatest irony? Praetoria was resilient, but there was only so much punishment it could take.
However, the time to reflect and meditate had passed. Most of her allies had fallen before the warlord, thankfully not dead, but still incapacitated on some level at the least. Few were left to stand against him, Hadrimmelis herself among them, and so, as Yuga Khan issued a challenge towards those who remained after the near-annihilation of the God of Constructs, the creator of worlds stepped forward, regarding the Old God with a steely glare, standing in front of her fallen friends and remaining allies. She took the blue rose-shaped brooch that Manifest had gifted to her upon the end of the Builder War and removed it, sending it off to a safe place as her crimson cape fell from her shoulders, fluttering in the wind as it flew some distance away from her before finally settling down on the ground. The golden circlet that was almost always seen adorning her head was removed as well, leaving her with only her red coat as she stood before the warlord.
Yuga Khan looked in her direction, evidently unimpressed. "Seems only fitting that a lizard would defend a bunch of-" The warlord spoke, but before he could finish, the one known as the Black Dragon attacked, moving so swiftly from her place that an afterimage of her standing there lingered for a moment before fading away, light itself confused about how to keep track of her movement. In a minute fraction of an instant, she was next to Darkseid's father, even as he spoke the last of his words before being interrupted, and once she was there, she opened up with a right hook to the warlord's face which carried all of the momentum of her speedy charge, something that would spell defeat or even complete annihilation for any lesser enemy. The blow connected, indicating that she had managed to take Yuga Khan by surprise, and, not willing to let her advantage go to waste, she continued by flexing her right arm and moving it in the opposite direction this time, delivering a devastating elbow strike to his head. Immediately after this next attack had connected as well, she used the same hand to grab the back of his neck and pulled down as she simultaneously raised her knee with great force, sending it straight into the Old God's stomach. She did this twice again before finally kicking him in the solar plexus, sending him flying through several walls until the Old God stabilized himself and stopped his own flight, walking back to the room where the battle was taking place earlier.
Six blows in total. Six blows that had caused the wind to hiss and howl as it was forcibly expelled from the zone surrounding the two deities, the dragon and the warlord. Six blows that had caused the earth itself to shake violently beneath Praetoria and the skies themselves to growl in anger from the sheer force of the impacts. Six blows that could have easily destroyed the entire world and then some... and they weren't enough. Of course they weren't enough, it was expected that they wouldn't be enough. There was more where that had come from, but this was all the strength that the Black Dragon was willing to use. Any more and she might well have actually destroyed the world or a part of it, or at the very least kickstarted a natural catastrophe, which she had no intention of doing, especially not in the planet where her friends and many of her children lived. But she was satisfied with the results. Yuga Khan did not seem too affected by the blows, they likely had been only enough to bruise him, but even so, she saw that he could be taken by surprise, he could be staggered, and that, for the time being, was enough. She knew, through her psionic scans, that Xander was making progress. As long as she managed to stall Yuga Khan, everything would be fine.
"You will regret interrupt-" The Khan began, and almost immediately, an enormous blast of concentrated light raced towards him, powerful enough to sear through the entire planet or blow an enormous hole through the ozone cape if it were to miss its mark, but it wouldn't, naturally, and even if it did, it would be snuffed out before it had the chance to do any sort of damage. Hadrimmelis owed Earth that much care, at the very least. The warlord's speech was once again cut short as he scowled, blocking the blast with the back of his hand, something that left him unprepared to deal with the speeding red-clad lady who had just emerged from a Serpent Hole behind him, dropping low and then sending an ascending kick straight towards Yuga Khan's back, sending him flying high into the air. Before his feet had even lifted from the ground, though, she had already straightened up and had one of her palms outstretched in Yuga Khan's direction. From it, an attack infinitely more powerful than the last one emerged, meeting the warlord. It was a beam, but unlike the previous one, this was not a mere light attack, it was so much more, it was a beam formed with the pan-elemental divine energy that was the Dragon Force which fueled the existence of the World-Dragons themselves, and this blast in particular was powerful enough to destroy several star systems with ease, though it would immediately cease to exist if it did not strike Yuga Khan, for the Old God was its only intended target. And indeed, the beam blasted him for several seconds before a shield was formed with the Old God's power, prompting Hadrimmelis to drop her attack. Her enemy soon landed in front of her again, now enraged; his armor certainly seemed worse for wear this time, and some manner of damage had been caused, but it didn't seem like this was the reason he was so full of anger now.
"You're holding back, Dragon." Yuga Khan growled. This time, Hadrimmelis did nothing. She knew that her opponent would be prepared this time, she knew that the same cheap trick wouldn't yield results anymore. It was, in fact, a miracle that it had worked the second time around, she had really been pushing her luck by repeating that gambit, but luckily, perhaps due to his hubris or simply due to fortune, he had not seen it coming, and hadn't been able to pry it from her mind, either. Regardless, having no obstacles to his speech this time, the warlord continued. "I know you have been keeping me from tearing apart the minds of these insects, lizard. But you were careless." Yuga Khan stated as he pointed a hand in the direction where Xander and Thanos were working. The Black Dragon cursed under her breath. Though she could exert the power of her mind freely, unlike the power of her body or the Dragon Force itself, which could devastate half the universe if they were misused. Even then, shielding her own mind and that of every one of her allies from an Old God who was so closely connected with the Source was proving a difficult task, and now Yuga Khan knew that the Mad Titan and the Golden Guardian were working to bring him down. She didn't know how this happened; in the heat of battle, she supposed, it must have slipped from her mind. It was not often that she fought an equal, or even someone stronger than herself.
Yuga Khan casually sent an enormous burst of energy towards the room where Xander and Thanos were working, and immediately, Hadrimmelis stepped through a Serpent Hole to stand in the path of the attack, shielding the two begrudging allies with her own body, not allowing the energy blast to reach their room. Now, this mortal disguise that she so often adopted bore within the awakened might of a World-Dragon, and as such, it was every bit as powerful as her own true form. Thus, her skin was just as resilient as the massive black scales that covered her real body, able to withstand most anything that was thrown at her, but even then, she felt pain. She felt pain from the stress of standing against the Old God's blast. His attack, truth be told, was every bit as awe-inspiring as hers had been, perhaps even more: the Old God clearly hadn't used all of his might with that blast, either, but unlike Hadrimmelis, he had no reason to hold back, nothing to protect, only things to destroy, and that made him far more dangerous than she could hope to be in this scenario.
As if it hadn't been enough with the blast, though, just as the last vestiges of energy were fading from existence after having been blocked by the World-Dragon's stalwart stance, Yuga Khan appeared right in front of her, as quickly as she had moved towards him earlier, and punched her with such force that she was sent straight into the ground, tearing through the whole of Praetoria's height before falling into the ocean, all the ground and metal that she had destroyed with her crossing not serving to slow her down one bit, tidal waves emerging from the point where she had broken through the surface of the water. However, Hadrimmelis was not defeated, far from it, and so, she opened a Serpent Hole right in front of her, leading her back to the battlefield in Praetoria, some water spilling out of the exit portal as she shot forth from it, straight back towards Yuga Khan, sending a punch towards his solar plexus that carried all of her momentum. The Old God staggered under the blow, and Hadrimmelis took this opportunity to send a kick towards his head, but before the blow could connect, her opponent seized her leg and began swinging her around as a mallet, swinging at the ground indiscriminately and causing her to smash into the surface of Praetoria again and again and again, the entirety of the floating city rumbling as a result, until finally, the warlord released her, throwing her away and causing her to smash through several dozen walls.
When the World-Dragon stood up, she looked a lot worse than Yuga Khan did. Naturally, her outward appearance was not really indicative of the true extent of the damage caused to her, but in any case, it did show that damage had, in fact, been caused, and that, coupled with the appearance that the Dragon Goddess had at the moment, was likely demoralizing. Her coat was torn, her hair was all messed up, and dirt, sweat and blood coated much of her, including part of her face, though her steely, determined expression never left her, showing that she was still not just able, but willing to fight against the Old God who threatened her friends, her children and her universe. And this, she demonstrated by charging towards Yuga Khan once again, never surrendering, never giving up the fight.
"How persistent, if you continue, I will-" The warlord spoke before being interrupted for the third time that fight, this time by the one attack that could cause him a significant amount of damage and, most importantly, pain.
A nut-shot.
Hadrimmelis wordlessly thanked Otis for the advice he had given the group earlier on how to fight that monster of a God, confident that a glance and a nod would be more than sufficient to convey her feelings. Turning back to Yuga Khan, however, she did not expect him to have recovered so quickly, but it seemed that after the incident with Otis, he had grown more resistant to such underhanded tactics, and so, when the Black Dragon turned back, Yuga was already in front of her once more, and, unable to do anything else in reaction, she locked hands with him, entering a contest of sheer physical prowess as the Old God attempted to overpower the Dragon Goddess and vice-versa. Alas, Yuga Khan's strength was, quite simply put, monstruous, and though Hadrimmelis was able to hold him at bay for a time, perhaps a very long time in comparison to the others, but in the end, no matter however long she was able to maintain the struggle, he was the stronger of the two, and so, slowly but steadily, he inched closer. Not content with simply overpowering her, he approached, now close enough that she could feel his breath on her face, and drawing closer still.
"You will pay for your insolence." He told her.
Then he opened his mouth. And then, he closed it.
The Black Dragon's scream of pain echoed through the entirety of the battlefield, likely reaching even Xander and Thanos and whoever else was still in Praetoria during that crisis. She staggered backwards as one of her hands clutched the left side of her face, blood leaking out from the gaps between her fingers. She was agonizing. She was confused. She was terrified. She had never expected that to happen during the battle, and yet, he had done it so casually, so nonchalantly. He was a monster through and through, and this, more than any other deed he had performed since arriving at Praetoria, made her certain of it. As she clutched her head, trying to recover from the shock and the sheer pain of what had just occurred, she glared at Yuga Khan. He was grinning smugly with bloody teeth as he looked at her, clearly pleased with her reaction, and that, she decided, she wouldn't allow.
Regaining her bearings and focusing her strength, Hadrimmelis charged Yuga one last time, removing her hand from her head and drawing it back as if she planned to punch the Old God with it. But as she moved towards him, her hand began to change. Right in the center of her open palm, something appeared, a portal of sorts through which a black spike jutted out, seemingly growing in size until its circumference was nearly as wide as the hand itself. It would likely appear as something rather bizarre to most of those present, but if any of them knew anything about the World-Dragons, and most importantly, their physiology, they might've been able to guess, especially when the black spike began to glow with a bright aura that was nearly blinding to look at. That strange object peeking out of the Black Dragon's hand was nothing more and nothing less than a minute fraction, the very tip in fact, of a worldfang, one of the myriad vicious spikes that sat in rows within the maws of the World-Dragons. They were immensely powerful objects, all of them bearing properties that corresponded to their owners, all of them capable of piercing anything that was weaker than the scales of the dragons to whom they belonged. One such object was on the palm of Hadrimmelis' hand, and it was slammed into the shoulder of the Old God with the force of a blow that could level the solar system behind it.
It went through.
Hadrimmelis then stepped back, the black spike on her palm now stained. She was still glaring at Yuga Khan, blood oozing through the hollow eye socket that had once housed her left eye. It seemed that, at that moment, the Old God was just as shocked as she had been before.
"Perhaps I can bleed, Yuga, but so can you." The Black Dragon spoke solemnly as the worldfang disappeared back into her mortal disguise. "But, no matter how you might want to deny it, there is a difference between you and me, a difference that is not of power, or cruelty." She said, outstretching her arms, gesturing towards all those who were present. "And you know what that is, Old God?" The Goddess asked, allowing herself to smile for a moment.
"I! AM NOT! ALONE!"
And as she bellowed, a psionic roar echoed within the minds of all those present, and every single hero who had stood or was yet to stand against Yuga Khan was suddenly filled with a mystic, divine energy, the power of the Dragon Force that was now coursing through them, thanks to the mediation of the Black Dragon. She had bought so much time, but she knew that she could not fight against Yuga Khan alone. But then, she didn't have to. She had many friends, many allies who were willing to put their lives on the line to protect their world, and the least she could do was help them fight.
Darkness. This is... Not a pleasant feeling for one who has long basked themselves in the light. Charles Crawler knew, all too well, what being unconscious was like- He was, after all, a SHIELD agent. However, he was one of the best- He hadn't been KO'd in years, had a better track record than Romanov.
That was why realizing he was unconscious was even more unpleasant than normal. Over the years at SHIELD, he had his psychic defences strengthened beyond the norm for a human- An unintentional side effect of this was that he was fully cognizant while unconscious. All of the mind, none of the energy or senses. Essentially a blackout of the body. Of course, it was different now that he was a God- He had all the energy, but the senses were still unavailable. So, he had all the time in the world to simply think and ponder.
Naturally, he spent this entire time thinking of how many ways he was going to hurt Yuga Khan. Suddenly, a white flash overtook his mind, and his eyes darted open. He was in a crater in the ground of Praetoria, neither the Infinite nor the Manifest Blade in his hand. He felt.. weaker. And then he felt stronger. He had no idea what this power was, but it was strong- Incredibly so. He reached his arm out. "To me, Blades." His crimson eyes glowed as the damage on him repaired itself and the Infinite dislodged itself from the ground and returned to his hand. At the same time, the Manifest Blade came from slightly farther away.
The moment it made contact with his hand, he felt a rush of power unlike anything he had felt before. Before, Manifest had been a God, elevated among Gods. Now, Charles Crawler had become Might made Manifest.
In one hand, he held a power primordial. In his body flowed the power of a God. In his heart beat the borrowed strength of the Dragon Force. In his mind, he felt rage.
He rose into the sky once more, his midnight black armour transforming into a blood crimson and red lightning surrounding him. The Infinite lit aflame once more- This time, however, the fire was silver. "Get away from my friend." Manifest ordered, flying towards the Father of Evil with incredible speed, his body engulfed in a devastating aura- the Dragon Force. Yuga Khan was thrown backwards, unprepared for this and confused. He stared after him. "That felt damn good." Manifest's form disappeared and, half an instant later, reappeared beside Hadri. "We don't have much time before he gets back. I'm guessing this is your strength? Thank you." He nodded towards his friend solemnly. "Now- I've learned my lesson about hitting this idiot one on one, no matter how strong I am. This time, we strike together." His blades were ready as he stood beside his friend. He glanced nervously at the facility with Thanos and Xander. He wasn't sure how much longer they could hold off Yuga Khan- At least, not without destroying the Earth. There were several people here, himself included, that could do that pretty easily.
The sounds of ass kicking and getting asses kicked started to slow down. "I don't mean to alarm you Thanos. But I think Khan is just finishing things up. Please for the love of everything, tell me that you're done."
"I am indeed. Now. Hold still." He said as the machine whirred to life. Each passing second Xander hearing Khan getting closer. IT was if Thanos was intentionally not firing the machine just to mess with him, but just as Khan rounded the corner into his workshop, an utterly massive flash of bright light. Enough to where he actually shielded his eyes. When the light died down a few seconds later, Xander stood, floating, with a strange new symbol on his chest. Thanos looked at Khan. "I forewarned you that attacking this planet is dangerous. Now you will see why."
"For once, Thanos isn't full of shit. Allow me to demonstrate." He said and the entire country of Praetoria shook with what happened. Xander hit Khan. Hard. Hard enough that Khan was sent crashing through the walls of his city with him in pursuit. "How dare you hurt my friends?! HOW DARE YOU STRIKE MY. WIFE." He sneered as he bashed Khan through more and more Kryptonian crystals and back to the battle area. "Welcome to Praetoria. Now get off." He was empowered by the Starbrand. He had enough cosmic energy to wipe out the nearly the entire universe. And he was going to unleash every last bit of it on Khan. Flying and grabbing the giant New God, he shot into the the sky and space flying at absurd speeds. "You think it's fun to just conquer planets? You think that us smaller guys can't fight back? Well stay with me son, cause I'm about to rock your world. Literally." Xander said and and threw Khan onto Apokolips with sufficient force that it knocked the planet out of it's proper orbit.
Khan staggered to his feet. Bleeding from where Hadri bit out his eye and bruised from when Xander smacked him around. Now that he thought about it, no one had ever actually challenged him before today. Let alone being smacked around like an unwanted child. By a human no less. "Quick question Yogi. I have infinite cosmic power. What's Infinity divided by like... 6?"
"In-fucking-Finity."
Valka arrived next on Apokolips, looking down on herself and at the others. "Interesting. I think it is high time that this pitiful Asgardian joined the fight. Previously, one of us alone could not have taken thee, Father of Darkseid. Together, before the Starbrand, we would have perhaps been enough. But now, on a planet whose destruction has been coming for thousands of years, with infinite cosmic power divided between ourselves, there will naught be a speck left of thee, for we will erase thee from the face of the universe, and all history. So, Yuga Khan, quake before us, and then, die."
And then, Valka lifted Gungnir to the sky, and then hurled the spear of Odin at the Old God, and then she disappeared, moving so fast that she was only a streak of light, catching the spear she had thrown and plunging it into the God's foot, before she ripped it out, continuing her attack until her form seemed to flicker as she attacked him from all sides.
Despite her increased power, Khan was still mighty and soon he caught on, smashing his fists into the ground where Valka was, but to no avail, as she leaped aside, Gungnir flashing, removing one of Khan's fingers. "That, was for Hadrimmelis." she said, pausing. Khan, after he had recovered, slammed both fists down upon the All-Mother. But instead of leaping aside, she cast Gungnir aside, and lifted up her own arms, and then, suddenly, she changed, growing in height and in power until she was nearly as tall as Yuga. This, was her true God form,or, in Valka's case, her Skymother form. She blazed with a light nearly blinding to all the others, and with one hand she held back the father of Darkseid, turning to Manifest and the rest, her voice thundering. "Every God possesses a true God form, much like Hadrimmelis' awakened form, Manifest, and all thee New Gods. You will be able to change into it at will, though the first time it may be difficult. In any case, whether you choose to change into it or not, join me, for I, Valka, cannot do this alone."

It was time to finish off Yuga Khan once and for all. Otis opened a Boom Tube and with it, Khan started to get sucked in, but when the tube was about to close, Khan physically ripped the hole in reality open and held it there as he tried to climb out. "No! You're supposed to stay in there! Can't you hear the ending soundtrack?!" Otis shouted and kept trying to force the Boom Tube closed.
"He's not going anywhere. Light the bastard up. Pour on everything. Get him through that Boom Tube!" Xander shouted preparing to useleash the full power of the Starbrand alongside his wife and friends. "Don't ever come here again, Khan. Or I promise that you won't be going back." He hissed and smiled at Naja as they fired their respective blasts at Khan.
"Now for my one liner..." She said and thought for a moment. "It's where you belong Khan. Along with all of the other failures of the universe." She said hoping it came out as awesome as she thought it sounded.

"You may believe that my species is below you, weaker than you, and more insignificant then yourself, but look at reality and you will see, that with enough courage and willpower that myself and my people will overcome any obstacle that the universe throws at us, even those who exceed the very meaning of power, as true power is not born by ambition and desires, but by the determination that lies within one's heart!" Asumar said readying and firing a blast at the Father of Evil
"Yuga Kahn, you and your son Darkseid have caused the Universe such strife that it exceeds every other tyrant who has ever existed, you may believe that it is your destiny to destroy the Earth and take the Omega Sanction, but now you're destiny is clear, your destiny is to wallow in the eternal state of living death behind the source wall, thus is the circle of life for people as foul as yourself, you will no longer threaten the Earth or anyone else as long as we are here to face you down and resist your might." Kazuko said firing in tandem with his brother.

As the heroes took their brutal revenge upon Yuga Khan, Valka sat upon a rock, her sword in hand, a whetstone running across its blade, making a threatening sound each time it rung. The sword was enchanted to never dull, but nevertheless, she sharpened it. It was rather calming to the All-Mother.
And the Boom Tube opened, Khan struggling to remain in it. She stood up from the rock, brushing off a spark that had lit from the fires of Apokolips all around, strolling up to the Old God. And when she had neared him enough, she halted, her sword trailing in the dirt as she spoke again. "We are Old Gods, Khan, you and I, in that, we are alike. But even we Old Gods must adapt, change our ways, and so, I have done, in this age of heroes. Puny, you called us, and look at thyself now. Pride our fatal flaw perhaps. But do you know what I have truly learned?"
Khan looked up from his struggle, growling "What?"
"That Gods can die. That death, no matter what immortality we claim is always there, behind you, lurking, waiting to seize you. We Old Gods can die. And once, that might have frightened me, but I have determined to not go gentle into that good night. For I know where I will go when I am dead. Do you?"
And the Goddess of Metal raised her sword, speaking once more, her voice falling to a whisper. "You have been defeated Khan, and today is not your death-date. But know this, and I speak as both All-Mother and an ally of Midgard when I say this, do not attempt to return. For the day that you do, and this I swear upon my name as Skymother, Khan, I will kill you. And if something arises in your place, I will kill them too. That is not a threat, but a promise, an oath. And do not think that it will stop there, for I have walked paths that demons fear to speak of, and I descended into hell. And when you wake up in that eternal torment, I will be there, waiting for thee."
She raised her sword, but shook her head, siphoning off her portion of the Starbrand back to the others. "I shall do this with my own power." And then, with her back to Yuga Khan, she raised her sword, crying aloud, "Begone!" And then, she turned, and swung Oathbringer, a wave of the Valkaforce emerging from it, blasting into the father of Darkseid and forcing him further into the portal.

Manifest glowered at the Father of Evil as he struggled to drag himself out of the Boom Tube. "You're pitiful." He raised his arm, blasting Khan with a steady stream of Starbrand energy. Khan's screams of pain filled the air, continuing even as Manifest ceased. "Stubborn, though." Manifest sighed. "Honestly. You came here expecting to win, didn't you?" He unsheathed the Manifest Blade, approaching Yuga Khan. Naturally, the Father of Evil simply scowled and spit blood on Manifest's armour.
"I will not grovel before an inferior being." The wounded God growled.
Manifest shook his head. "Inferior being? Really, Yogi Bear?" He flipped the Blade to face downward and infused the power of Starbrand into it. "You should really know better than to insult an Earthling by now." He slammed the Blade into Khan's shoulder, but even through the incredible pain, the New God held fast. Manifest considered him for a moment, staring at the God. "You really haven't figured it out yet, have you?"
He withdrew the blade, quickly leaping backwards and unsheathing the Infinite. "In the end, you never had a chance." His eyes flashed silver and the Manifest Blade vanished, its energy flowing into the Infinite, even as the flaming Asgardian sword began to ebb with the combined power of both the fabled Starbrand and the mythical Dragon Force.
"Begone!" He roared, aiming the blade at Yuga Khan's chest and unleashing the full, untempered might of the God of Fragments.

Julie looked at Khan, a cold judgement on her eyes as she pointed her ring at him. "Normally, I think I'd feel upset if I hurt someone. Even if they were as much of an arrogant waste of life as you." She spoke. "You must be a special flavour of douche, because I don't feel sorry for you. At all." She spoke, as she suddely used her ring to grab the dark lord and slam him down onto the planet, then do it again, and again. Finally she made a giant moon sized hand and backhanded him into the planet with ridiculous force. "That. That's for the bitch slap"
Zaki's turn was next, as she inhaled, absorbing magic from the very frabric of reality as she unleashed a blast of energy. She swiftly morphed into a much larger size all of a sudden, now dwarfing her enemy. "You call us bugs, but really I can only see one tiny annoying thing here." She spoke as she slammed her heel down on Darkseids father.
ext Lisa was up as she unleashed another storm of spacial cuts on the poor Khan, slashing at him with a million, million papercuts, internal or otherwise. She then collected her energy into one spacial warping blast, planning to bombard him with spacial anomalies, putting things in the same space as him. She charged up her attack, and thought to say something really cool. "You... Uh- Um... You..." She struggled. "I'm not good at these..." She spoke. Then she had an idea. "You're so dense, your head is a black hol- Oh nevermind!" She shouted as she tossed the spacial attack, causing the god extreeme pain as suddenly rock occupied the same space as him, leading to several stones poking out of his body that had merged with him.
Yuga Khan was about to turn to face another opponent when chorus stood there, her eyes on his face. He frowned, then lifted a fist. In a fraction of the time it would take him to blink, she severed the arm he raised with Verse. Then as he fell back she went up to his ear and screamed two words. Everyone else might have to sheild their ears as they heard the two words pierce through the air itself, filled with a repressed anger of someone who could speak, but wasn't able to for fear of destroying innocents. The words would be unclear, but one of them would sound like Duck, but the other sounds like moth. Needless to say, Yuga Khan heard the message loud and clear, and it would likely be the last thing he'd hear in a while as his eardrums ruptured. His brain didn't take damage, but his ears were practically unusable as he flew away, ready for the next batter to step up to the plate.

Hadrimmelis watched as the Father of Evil stood his ground despite the brutal beating he had taken so far, holding open with his bare hands the Boom Tube that was supposed to send him back to his own dimension so that he would pose a threat towards Earth no longer. He was as defiant as ever, and though his pride had been marred by the punishment that he had been dealt by her and the other heroes who protected Earth, his wrath had in turn grown massively. But none of that mattered. They had him against the ropes, in earthling slang, and all they needed to do now was give the final push. Thus, the Black Dragon walked through the barren, molten landscape that she herself had created there in Apokolips with her power, stepping over the pools of bubbling magma with no hindrance as she moved to stand next to her friends and her allies, at the same time using her power over the elements to create a silver and golden amulet that took the place of her lost left eye, symbolized by the ruby at the center; despite being filled with something else, the light of the Starbrand's power still shone through the socket.
Now standing next to her friends, the World-Dragon looked at Yuga Khan, once again extending one hand and pointing her palm towards the Old God, divine energies converging in front of her palm into a sphere of energy of nigh-almighty power. Unlike the previous time, for this one occasion she allowed herself to utilize far more power, and though she was still not at her top, not exerting the full power of the Dragon Force and the Starbrand combined, it was still something very powerful, likely enough to push Darkseid's father through the Boom Tube, combined with the others' attacks. Feeling that she should say something, she spoke. "Yuga. In this moment, I could speak to you of how you were wrong to underestimate us so, of how you were wrong to call us insects. I could speak to you of how your pride ruined your chances, of how your folly spelled your own doom. I could speak to you of many things, but, in honor of those who are the true owners of this victory, I will keep this short and simple, in true Earth fashion." She said, and then smiled. "When we're done kicking your ass, tell the Builders I said hi."
The release of power was awesome to behold. Apocalyptic, one could call it, and they would not be wrong, not in the slightest. The sheer ammount of power that had just been let loose from the sphere contained in front of the Black Dragon's palm was enough to destroy a very significant percentage of the universe, and there it was, helping push an agonizing Dark God through a portal to his own realm after he had been beaten and quite frankly humiliated by a group of unlikely heroes. Enough power to destroy Apokolips several times over. It was evidently not all her own power, as she was drawing forth her energy from the Starbrand as well, but even so, the display was nothing short of admirable, even to those who possessed similar power to hers. The wave of annihilation raced forth and soon met the tattered, broken armor of the Father of Evil, setting it alight or outright obliterating what remained of it as it crashed against the Old God himself and pushed against him with all of the might of a World-Dragon behind it.
Then, once her objective was completed, Hadrimmelis closed her palm and just like that, the almighty beam was gone.
At that moment, with the combined might of the entire team blasting Khan at once, it tore Apokolips apart and Khan wasn't faring much better. The massive blast shot him back into his proper dimension, bleeding out of every hole in his head, unconscious, and barely alive.
